A question I get asked a lot is if I can speak Chinese. Interestingly, most friends and people who were born in Asia assume I
For the past 2 years or so I have hardly watched any tv and only recently been getting back into it. I actually love tv but compared to the internet, tv feels too slow and sitting through ads drives me nuts. Studies have actually shown that watching too much tv numbs your brain (which probably explains why so many people fall asleep in front of it!). I hate that numbing effect which is why I don’t watch a lot of shows. Anyway, enough about that. I like to live by the ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ motto. So, I have a bit of a (long) story to tell… Both my parents are very DIY. My mother made clothes and school uniforms for my sister and I, and my father designed and built an extension/kitchen to our house. He also made almost all of my bedroom furniture too, so in a way it was custom-designed just for me and from a young age I grew up loving to design and build/make things.
